  20 years, 4 months active federal service. 9 years enlisted experience as a 13F (Forward Observer). 6 years in the 1st Ranger Bn, 75th Ranger Regt. Highlights include Fire Support Non-Commissioned Officer and Headquarters Platoon Sergeant in A Co, 1st Bn, 75th Rgr Regt. (BNCOC, JM & CDQC). Attended Officer Candidate School early in 1998 and was commissioned on 11 April. Branched Field Artillery and attended Field Artillery Officer Basic Course followed by deployment to Korea as a Multiple Launch Rocket Systems Operations/Executive Officer. Attended Degree Completion at Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma, for 1.5 years while training for Special Forces Selection. Infantry Officer Advanced Course and Combined Arms Service & Staff School enroute to Fort Bragg for the Q-Course. Detachment Commander of ODA 023 followed by Assistant Operations Officer in 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (SFG) in Stuttgart, Germany. Deployed to Iraq in 2006 with 2nd Battalion, 10th SFG. Finished my career in B Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group as the Executive Officer and assisting with Small Unit Tactics instruction on Field Team 2.
