Employed as Lead Sourcing Manager. My role as Lead Sourcing Manager, was to provide the Thermal Power Project Organization a qualified, verified and substantial advice and support for planning, preparation and implementation for an optimal A-Z project-sourcing. I was primarily associated with projects in the Thermal Power Project Organization. I was responsible for the overall project procurement/sourcing-process both commercially and technically. In this regard, I was responsible for managing the co-relation between the Commercial- and the Technical Management I was managing/heading the process from the project idea phase, throughout preparation of tenders, evaluation and negotiation of Contracts. In addition, I was responsible for the general technical and commercial optimization of the contracts. DBDH is an interest organization regrouping more than 50 leading Danish energy related organizations such as consultants, industrial component suppliers, power plants and utilities. DBDH’s role is to promote District Heating and Cooling / District Energy (solutions, know-how and systems) abroad the Danish borders; this by networking through high level contacts and decision makers from authorities and stakeholders from International, national and regional energy industry. Working as an Export/Project Manager, I gained substantial knowledge on the Danish and European energy sector and markets. In particular, I have gained insight on the framework conditions (legislations and incentives), the general energy situation and market conditions, and contacts with various key stakeholders from following markets: • Denmark • Germany • UK (England, Scotland) • Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) • France • Spain • Netherlands During my employment, in addition, I was involved in various energy projects, such as H2020-applications. Further I was the lead of various commercial focus groups for e.g, markets (UK and Germany), and System Supply & Financing. The objective for the group “System Supply & Financing” is to form inter-organizational consortia’s, to facilitate bidding on large scale tenders (production facilities, DHC-infrastructure, O&M, financing, etc.).
