Rick has incessant passion for learning. I have worked with Rick on the New York State Model Schools Consortium and when he was a participant at the 2011 Constructing Modern Knowledge (CMK) institute. His ability to look at learning in unique ways and try new approaches to learning greatly benefits his roles as a professional developer and technology specialist. At CMK 2011 institute, Rick's go get 'em attitude pushed his own learning where he expanded his skills beyond his curricular background and made connections to what learning really is and how teachers can provide new approaches to learning based on the constructivist theory. Colleagues that have also worked with Rick have a deep respect for his thoughtfulness, insight and inquiry towards teaching, technology and, ultimately, learning.
