Rick and I worked together for five years at Omega Resource Group, during which time we enjoyed an extremely successful period of growth, development and success, and for which Rick had full P & L responsibility. Rick and his team were instrumental in more than doubling the headcount, in fact nearly tripling the headcount, and delivering the requisite margin and profit growth. His ability to develop the team around him, grow careers and take them on a journey, our journey in this case, is second to none, as is his ability to structure, develop process and design the roadmap. Rick is a high quality, conscientious senior operator who I strongly recommend to dynamic businesses and workplaces.

I have worked with Rick for about 25 years. In that time Rick has developed a huge range of leadership, management and development skills. He is a very talented individual with the ability to mix cool appraisal and insight, with an infectious dynamism. He has always been able to grasp the essentials of his various roles and over-deliver on outcomes. He has the ability to work with all levels in an organisation. He is a good listener and a shrewd analyst. He is approachable and engaging; all of which, make him a very good coach. And..... he's a great guy to work with

Rick contacted me to do some wellbeing sessions with the 5Values team and from the beginning it was clear how passionate and committed he is to improving the physical and mental health of the team. There are many reasons why it is good for a leader to care about their team's wellbeing and it was brilliant to see a Rick creating a workplace where employees feel supported and valued, which can lead to many benefits for the company.

I retained my Director position at Omega and was asked to own and lead the integration of Omega into the new parent company post acquisition. Our vision is to be the trusted market leader, providing a single destination for blue collar workers and employers to connect across the UK. Over the past ten years Staffline has grown from 40 to 400 locations across the UK and during peak trading in 2017 we provided work for 60,000 workers at 1600 clients. We are using our scale for good by providing our workforce with safe and sustainable employment at their choice of the UK's best employers who choose Staffline for our superior customer experience. Our OnSite delivery model is both low cost and adds significant value for our clients who are amongst the largest and most prestigious employers in the UK. We are now twice the size of our next nearest competitors in the blue collar workforce arena largely due to being recognised as the ethical and compliant provider of choice that offers brand protection and safe working environnments. In addition to Staffline Recruitment - Staffline Group PLC consists of People Plus which provides back to work support for the long term unemployed as part of the Work Programme for the Department of Work and Pensions. People Plus has also made significant investment into training and apprenticeships which are delivered from a network of centres across the UK. Staffline also is proud to have a range of complementary businesses within the group, including Omega Resource Group which was acquired in 2018, who have since 1998 specialised in technical and engineering recruitment solutions across the UK - from 'C' level down.
