I am in charge all manufacturing, material handlers and shipping/receiving personel. I am in charge of the production of our rought terrrian forklifts. I am reposilble in deteriming which freight carriers to assign to out going shipments of rough terrain forklifts. I do all aspects of cycle counting related to the inventory of production parts used to build rough terrain fork lifts maintaining an overall 98% accuracy on parts counted. I track and recording any variances, and investigate the legitimacy of any variances. I back up the Production Control Manager, running the planner to create production job orders and purchase orders. I do all aspects of cycle counting related to the inventory of production parts used to build rough terrain fork lifts maintaining an overall 98% accuracy on parts counted. I use M2M system to pull cycle counts. Physically count by hand and weight scale verifiy that everything in all areas is counted before entering into system, while tracking and recording any variances, and investigate the legitimacy of said variance. I enter all receiving transactions into the computer system verifing that the PO, part number, amount and prices match what is in the system. I create, move and close production job orders, including month end closing. I oversee eighteen productions parts suppliers and six MRO suppliers also order all hardware and paint supplies used in production. I have an ongoing relationship with established suppliers and have created new relationships to help reduce the cost of our on hand inventory. I am currently training with and the backup to the Production Control Manager, which involves running the planner to create production job orders and purchase orders. Help maintain inventory levels, including putting away product received in with use of hi-lo, re-stock product brought back to inventory from production, re-tagging and entering in to computer. Enter all inventory transactions in the AS400 computer system. Order products used the injection molding process with the help of MRP. Do all cycle counts including physical counts along with computer transfers correcting any errors in the system to match physical counts. Investigate any errors to determine where the variance occurred.
