In-House Tool for Medical Device(s) (C# .NET Developer) Iris Pharmacuticals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Beckman Inc manufactures urinalisys and hemotology analytical products. The firmware that was developed for this new hardware is all embedded and a “script language” was developed to run all the pumps and move the test tubes through the process so that each tube would be moved into place for a pipet to come down and take a sample and put it into a heating well for purity then a high speed camera would take pictures and perform some analysis. I wrote a Windows Software application from scratch that allowed the system’s engineers to write scripts to allow that function to be managed for both types of machines in a single application. Casino Customer Player Card Rewards Kiosk System Currently, the Casino uses Aristocrat’s OASIS Player Card System and this client wanted to create an in-house client/server kiosk system to allow customers to check their points, enroll in events and check announcements by using various terminals around the casino. Each Kiosk was a Windows XP based Customer Defined GUI that communicates over a TCP/IP Network to a single server machine which queued requests for information which was retrieved or modified directly through some simple stored procedures running on the existing PCS. Currently, the Casino uses Aristocrat’s OASIS Player Card System and this client wanted to create an in-house rewards system. What was created for this client was a runtime file driven program that can be installed on a Windows PC anywhere in the Casino with a configurable venue and reward which runs against a SQL Server Database and communicates directly with the OASIS SQL Database to retrieve Player Card daily cash in and name so that a single reward can be given based on a configurable amount of play for each day. A Configuration Utility was also written so that the Casino Operator cans Add/Edit/Delete Venues, their reward and amount of play required for the rewards. Both Applications are network applications and have the ability to run numerous copies. The Application is now in use throughout the Casino. Windows XP Professional Operating System GUI Applications is written in Microsoft C# using .NET 3.5 Both the OASIS Database and internal database are Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Show less
