Developed, trained, tested, validated, and documented ozone forecasting model based on historical and near-real time meteorological data. Implemented into operations.Radiative transfer model analysis, testing, maintenance, and development (LBLRTM, RRTMGP).Ionospheric data analysis -- data filtering techniques and model assimilation for the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Communication and Navigation Outage Forecast System (C/NOFS). Designed multiple filters for the satellite's GPS receiver data, validated results, and implemented into operations. Also validated a similar filter for the CNOFS Langmuir probe. Performed other tasks utilizing the GPS Radio Occultation (RO) data from C/NOFS.Verification analysis of best-of-breed SCINDA (Scintillation Network Decision Aid) software. Authored the final report for the SPOSCINDA project.Validation of software designed for automated identification of the plasmapause utilizing existing models and high-altitude data sets. Characterization of long-term trends of the plasmapause exhibited in data from the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP).Flare forecasting with X-ray data from the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES).Authored monthly, quarterly, annual, and final project reports submitted to AFRL. Contributed to presentations and proposals.
