Rick is an exceptional manager that I was lucky enough to have worked under for almost 4 years. He has an innate ability to recognize talent. I can honestly say our team was the best in the business, and it was due to him hiring the right people and providing guidance to develop them into great engineers.

During the past 2 years of working for Rick, I've learned to be a better engineer, the best practices for project management, and overall product knowledge. During my first role out of college, Rick always had the time to answer any and all of my questions and gave me confidence in the workplace. His ability to be a teacher and not just a manager always impressed me. I have grown greatly as an engineer thanks to Rick's guidance. He is also very organized and realistic when it comes to creating project timelines. He truly knows the steps to creating a solid, practical timeline that our team could get behind. Rick's product knowledge drove our team to create cost efficient, innovative solutions that only someone with industry expertise could have accomplished. Rick was a very supportive, patient manager that will succeed no matter where he works.

Engineering Manager responsible for the aesthetics engineering for garden tractors and consumer/commercial ZTR's. My team specializes in creating innovative engineering solutions that deliver the appearance as delivered by the industrial design team. They also engineer them to meet the tough performance standards expected from all Husqvarna products. Another role I have is to design and release the packaging for all finished goods for the Ride On Category. The mission is simple. Get the product delivered to the customer defect free. Other responsibilities include strategic planning relative to expense and project budgets, resource allocation, timing and people development. Supporting pilot builds and product launches is another initiative that is extensively supported by me and my team each year.

My nearly 17 years of engineering experience with Ford were focused primarily on two functional areas. Exterior Ornamentation and Front End Structure. From these areas, I learned the skills that contributed to developing vehicles that achieved 5-star crash ratings as well as best in class front end fit and finish. Projects that I personally worked on and launched at the assembly plants were: 1992 F-Series, Michigan Truck Assembly Plant 1996 Taurus/Sable, Atlanta Assembly Plant 1999 Explorer/Mountain, St. Louis Assembly Plant and Louisville Assembly Plant 2005 Mustang, Dearborn Assembly plant
