  I am the hydro electric power and water infrastructure specialist at Unico Mechanical although I serve additional industries as well. Our company is quickly emerging as the West's leading resource for refurbishing large-scale projects involving turbines, pumps, pressure relief valves, butterfly valves and more. Our customers include government agencies and public and private companies in a variety of industries including refineries, chemical, maritime, food processing, manufacturing, and others.

  During my four-year machinist apprenticeship, I developed and honed my skills operating large vertical boring mills, horizontal mills, planers, lathes, and grinding machines. I machined and manufactured components for rotating equipment for nuclear surface craft and submarines for the U.S. Navy. After serving as a machinist, I was promoted to a planner/estimator position where I played a key role in the overhaul of navy vessels. I was recognized by the Shipyard Commander for Outstanding Performance. In addition, I was awarded a Repair Officer Commendation for the USS Carl Vinson and USS Enterprise aircraft carriers, as well as the USS Haddock and USS Flasher Submarines.
