• Responsible for the workload management within the Royalties team, assisting the Head of Financial Operations to coach and train the team members to ensure that the contractual payments are accurately prepared to the agreed timetable.• Interpret, input and maintain all beneficiary royalty accounts within the royalty system. • Work with IT and stakeholders around the business to improve the use of the royalty system in the company• Input and maintain high volumes of sales within the system to ensure accurate reflection of the contractual obligations with beneficiaries.• Recommend process improvements to the HFO for discussion and assist in the implementation thereof by training the team. • Approval of royalty accounting up to agreed authorisation level, ensuring the royalty files hold sufficient detail for audit purposes and that the relevant financial accounting entries are accurate.• Preparation of the royalty accounting for complex contractual obligations for key talent / commercially sensitive business partners.• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations of accounts which are directly related to royalties (e.g. recharges, cash in transit, third party royalties). • Deputise for the HFO on all royalty related matters, in their absence.
