I held this postion while I was in the Biology doctoral program. I developed computer programs using the Perl programming language to process large volumes of DNA sequence data generated by DNA microarray robots. Organisms studied in the laboratory or in collaboration with other labs included the chicken pineal gland, mouse retinal tissue, the plant Arabadopsis, and zebrafish. I also configured and managed large terabyte data farms, Linux servers, and databases. I held this postion while I was in the Biology doctoral program.
