French, Jean Louis has a background in Psychology from the Paris University. After graduating, he went to Algeria and worked for 4 years as Psychologist in a Civil Works Technical Training Institute, close by Alger. During this time, he was in charge of to two key main projects: Selection of young Algerian technicians and training of trainers. In 1980, he joined SPIE Oil & Gas Technical Company, (formerly known as Ipedex) and he developed methods in assessment and selection of personnel, Training project management and Human Resources Management & Consulting for Oil & Gas Mines and Energy industry International companies in Europe (France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal), Russia (Sakhalin Island), Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan), Middle East (AUH, Qatar, Yemen, etc.), South East Asia (Malaysia, Thailand) and Africa (Angola, RDC, Congo, Gabon, Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria, Niger, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Morocco and Algeria) He leaded Training & development projects, such as Performance interviews, development of leadership training workshops, Safety & Behaviour team building, case studies, role plays, performance & leadership assessment, for International and National Oil & Gas, Mines and Energy Companies.
