  The Head of Year is assigned specific responsibility to work with the tutors, students and parents to facilitate oversight, management and development. Manage the day to day operations of the Year Level.Develop, implement and supervise the Year Level Pastoral Care program. Organise appropriate Parent Information evenings. Collate and appropriately disseminate confidential details re students in the Year Level. Keep oversight of the academic and pastoral interests of students by liaising with parents and specialist staff. Assist tutors and subject teachers in the implementation of the College’s discipline policy.Maintain appropriate student records and documentation. Organise meaningful year level assemblies, events and activities. Work collaboratively with other Year Level Managers to develop a cohesive overall College Pastoral program. Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to promote the Year Level and events. Respond promptly to issues which arise at the year level in relation to students, teachers, parents and programs of study. Meet regularly with the Head of Sub-School. Meet regularly with and support Year Level Tutors and Subject Teachers. When required work closely with School Counsellors, Director of Student Services and external agencies to support students in the year level.
