Global Renewables are a UK waste management and recycling organisation, responsible for managing daily operations on a shift-rotation basis and recently assigned additional duties involving the scheduling/planning of operational and maintenance tasks. ➢ Successfully supported acceptance testing for Global Renewables facility in Thornton, liaised with operational staff along with external clients and senior management, which resulted in facility being given approval to commence service. ➢ Succeeded in reducing accidents in 2014-2015 by 31% by leading a number of improvement initiatives. ➢ Recorded a notable reduction of 32% in vehicle and plant incidents through efficient audit processes. ➢ Following the decision to ‘mothball’ the Global Renewables Plant, project managed the entire operation and then nominated by senior management to take charge of the ‘new direction’ for the business that safeguarded its continuation.
