Teach a variety of courses in Anthropology that include Principles of Archaeology, Buried Cities and Lost Tribes, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Anthropology Goes to the Movies, and Human Evolution. Have developed innovative strategies for active learning and the use of technology to assist learnng. Have been recognized for my leadership in the development and vision for the college's Center for Teaching and Learning. Served as college lead for Maricopa Community College district teaching and learning groups. Served as advisor for student groups such as Native American Organization and Anthropology Club. Lead eight groups of students to China on college educational exchange programs and coordinated ten visits of Chinese students to the college.
