• Serves as Lead Inspector on contracts in the SCDOT Georgetown Construction Office. Duties include all areas of SCDOT inspections. Placed on challenging contracts by District 5 that includes CMRB, Concrete, Shoulder Work, and Asphalt jobs. Duties performed as Lead include being responsible for field inspections and all Project Management paperwork for the contract, completing estimate, submitting samples/material certs, completing as-builts, completing close outs, and training junior inspectors on inspection/paperwork aspects of the job. • Served as Assistant Project Manager on SCDOT Statewide CEI On -Call Contract with 5 billable inspectors. Mentor and train RS&H inspectors in the proper practices and procedures of SCDOT work. Audit RS&H inspector’s field work and paperwork submittals. Meet with RCE offices to discuss inspector performance and upcoming work. Assist on writing proposals of SCDOT and County contracts. Attend County/City Council meetings, public hearings, and attend industry conferences. • Mentor and cross check inspectors to ensure spec compliance and that all required paperwork is being submitted timely and accurately • Served as Senior Bridge Inspector in SCDOT District 4 for the SC-34 Bridge superstructure demolition and rebuild in Fairfield County, SC. Monitored daily contractor activities, traffic control, entered Daily Work Reports into SiteManager, entered material certifications and other pertinent information into Projectwise, performed inspection of erosion control and submitted Form 800.02. Kept RCE Office informed of contractor progress on a daily basis.. • Served as Senior Roadway Inspector in SCDOT District 5 for construction of new roundabout intersection at US-301/SC-403 in Florence County, SC.
