  My doctoral research explores the possibility of creating inclusive communities using the relationship between gated communities and their surrounding non-gated communities in Accra as an analytical perspective. This research aims to contribute to the growing empirical evidence to help city authorities and other physical development stakeholders in Ghana to better understand and strive towards creating inclusive and balanced communities suited for the African context.
