      I worked on a month contract as a 2D Environment artist and Graphic designer; The project involved developing a 2D game for the BBC, for the launch of their new business venture BBC Blast. The development of this project was undertaken at the Derby Games Studio, based at the University of Derby. My role within this project involved the creation of environment assets, 2D animations and Graphic design work, utilising software programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Game Maker. As my first live games development project I feel the experience I gained was invaluable. This experience has exposed me to the skill of working with strict time management and milestones deliveries, as well as working as part of a team successfully with a variety of disciplines and expertise. I believe this project has given me the knowledge and understanding that are vital to working successfully in the field of game production. Show less
