The Best Connection employment group supplies temporary labour to the driving, industrial, warehouse & distribution, retail and local authority sectors throughout the UK.In this role I work off a hot desk looking after all Industrial business in the Newcastle area. We are currently on budget and looking to bring more new business on board. On a daily basis I ensure all staff is checked in and competitor calls are made in the morning, so no business is lost and potential business is won. A great deal of time throughout our day will be focused on sales to ensure we hit certain KPI targets set in place and win new business. This will involve canvassing potential new clients to arrange meetings, a form of commitment to call back or to pop in off spec whilst out canvassing. A big part of my job is to make sure our current clients are happy; also contact is kept with previous clients to maintain the rapport and I will generally visit new and existing clients on a monthly basis. It is vital to keep availability up to date and ensure we have a flow of temporary workers registered in order to spec our workers out to existing and potential new clients.
