I managed all communications and digital marketing activity at the Indie publisher. I created the company’s first PR system from scratch which included a coverage report process, multiple use press lists, a new PR strategy structure, branding guidelines and more. I managed several agencies in various territories from Germany to the USA and lead the global PR strategies for more than six titles with the aim of creating maximum impact around key marketing beats. I maintained strong relationships with both mainstream and specialist media.

Throughout my time at Ukie, I planned and implement all communication and digital marketing strategies. I managed a small team and ran Ukie’s Community and Marketing Communications sub-groups which contained over 80 marketing, PR and community senior professionals from global games publishers and developers. Within the groups, I headed up PR campaigns around safe and sensible gaming, cyber bullying, gaming for kids, age ratings and more. My biggest achievement at the company was working alongside the UK government and the games sector to strategize the UK tax production credits lobby and rollout, helping communicate the need for more investment in the creative industries. I was also personally involved in the OFT investigation into in-app purchasing. I managed all agencies for Ukie’s advertisement, marketing and branding as well as working alongside publishers like Nintendo and Rockstar to build strong relationships, act as their crisis PR agency and help implement their PR and marketing strategies across Europe
