Support 20-300 personnel in working safely on construction, operations, and maintenance activities at CNRL Albian Sands and Syncrude Aurora oil sands mines. These include Heavy Equipment Operators (Caterpillar 777 heavy haul trucks, excavators, graders, dozers), Carpenters, Labourers, Field Supervisors & Engineers in open-pit mining, earthmoving, bridge/mining road construction, tailings removal, and pipeline maintenance. • Onboarding & Training: Facilitate safety orientations, FLHA training, supervisor training, and respiratory protection training, including fit testing training. • Injury Prevention: Champion incident prevention by coaching, mentoring & supporting field personnel and less experienced HSE Advisors on Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA), risk mitigation, and safe work practices. Participate in development of Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) & Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Attend toolbox/safety meetings to advise on issues/initiatives.
