Richard is a dynamic, energetic leader. He has a passion for everything he takes on. I love his "Can Do" attitude and the entrepreneurial perspective he brings to every business challenge. Richard is tireless, talented, knowledgeable, brimming with positivity and a fun guy. I loved working with him.

Richard Castleton

Richard persuaded us to roll-out a single e-learning course in 2001. Three years later he had converted our entire people development programme to e-learning including our induction programme, all compliance courses, job skills training, and customer service. As well as a dramatically reduced time to staff competency, we were pleasantly surprised to see a significant reduction in staff turnover. The courses are still in use to this day and remain extremely popular with staff members. Richard is great to work with and always delivers on his promises.

Richard has an unparallelled ability to inspire a team and bring multiple points of view into one unified vision. He is a great communicator and he truly knows how to listen. The creativity that goes into his leadership style does not take a day-off; his energy is infectious.

ThirdForce acquired my company, CLM, in 2005. In my role at ThirdForce I led the research, design, production and sales of new e-learning courses and services for the US business (holding a US work visa for 3 years). I also led group strategy in business development, marketing, brand and product management. Show less

I built CLM from a simple idea into a £4 million turnover company and respected brand, winning numerous product, training and innovation awards along the way. Our goal was to design and deliver highly effective e-learning courses to over one million employees in the hospitality, care, food manufacturing and education sectors. Clients included Microsoft, Whitbread and Compass Group. In 2002 we were awarded a £2 million/year government contract to deliver supported e-learning to ten thousand Apprentices. ThirdForce acquired CLM for £5.5m in 2005. Show less
