Redefine|BDL Hotels is an independent hotel management company, with an exceptional track record of developing and managing a diverse collection of branded and private label hotel properties across the UK. The summary of my role and experience includes managing and maintaining a high standard of customer service in the Food and Beverage department measured by excellent customer feedback and reviews. I recruit by using the "making the right choice"​ framework and follow it up by coaching and developing the team. Maximising any sale's at every opportunity by encouraging upselling and motivating the team by organising incentives to drive current promotions, increase sales and reach budget. I promote good health and safety practices and lead the team with a professional can do approach and behaviour. I have developed myself further and have gained experience in First Aid and Fire Marshalling, Duty Management and becoming Master of Ceremonies at events and being the responsible person on the Civil Ceremony Licence for the hotel. I promoted the company's performance related Shine! program and became the hotel ambassador and held Shine! training sessions for all new recruits. I have also gained further knowledge of the day to day man management of the team and have become a more competent and experienced departmental manager in the process.
