Richard is a highly motivated and conscientious individual. He displayed great talent and problem solving skills in the manufacture of prototypes and one of a kind tight tolerance parts. His skill with assisting others and their engineering problems was indispensable and his skill with CAD/CAM software was put to daily use. Richard was the one person the students looked to to solve their FEA issues.

I have known Rich for the past 3 years as a student at CU Denver. I have served as his instructor, his research advisor, and internship advisor, which is to say I know Rich extremely well. Rich came to CU Denver as a veteran using the GI Bill. As a result, his work ethic, maturity, and team attitude is exceptional. When we introduced internships in our Biomechanics MS track, I was quick to connect him with an employer. When he asked for a MS research project, I connected him with a neurosurgeon who needed help designing and manufacturing a table-to-head frame adapter for deep brain stimulation surgeries. He worked with the surgeon, observed a surgery, worked with the imaging techs, and manufactured the device himself. He successfully completed the project and the device is currently being used at CU Hospital. When Stryker asked for talented interns, Rich was at the top of my list. I think the best thing I can say about him is that when we look to hire at Impressio (my current company), Rich will be at the top of my list of candidates. So if you're looking at his profile as a potential hire, I would highly recommend you bring him in for an interview.
