I also improved the quality and reliability of the management accounts and board reports and introduced channel reporting for different business units. I prepared an annual operating plan to track results and position the expected annual result for the COO and wider Board. Following a handover to the permanent FC, I have continued at the company on a project basis. This has included due diligence work on potential acquisitions and guiding the finance team in their preparation for the half-year audit, including liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
