Tom H.

In the time I have worked with Richard he has proved himself to be a very capable and adaptable designer. Shortly into his tenure at Marshall the lead project designer left, leaving Richard having to 'take the reins' very quickly - which he did very admirably and effectively. In recent months Richard's design activities have included welded metal structures, hydraulic layouts, electrical layouts and mechanical systems. He has supported physical validation activity and works well in liaising with production personnel.

I can highly recommend Richard for his detailed and dedicated design work on the electric tug vehicle at Marshall. Richard carried out the mechanical detailing of the structure and the integration of hydraulic and electric systems. Richard worked well under pressure and delivered the vehicle into successful production launch in a short timescale.

My role at MVE was to design and develop a new range of electric towing vehicles for light to medium aircraft. I have gained valuable experience with heavy plate welding and chassis design. I have also gained experience with implementing hydraulic and electrical systems in the vehicle.
