Involvement in safety audits, identification of hazards and corrections, and other preventative approaches Active involvement and leadership in the implementation and execution of continuous improvement initiatives Work in partnership with the Maintenance department to assist in prevention rectification of breakdowns. Work in partnership with the Quality Assurance department to prevent and resolve any quality issues. Ensure adherence to all quality requirements including GMP’s, HACCP, SOP’s, specifications etc. Resource to all employees on health and safety issues and particularly to line management. Advise on issues that will impact on the company’s operations. Assist in developing/revising site procedures, standards, systems and programs as requested. Coordinate and participate in the investigation and issuing of all health and safety accidents reports. Monitor that all health and safety accidents are properly investigated, corrective actions implemented and effectiveness follow-up done. Provide PPE training as required.
