  Richard has designed and installed lighting and AV systems for over 20 years. He is known for his innovative designs and ability to get the job done on time / within budget. His company IES also provides lighting and AV rental services for the Central Texas Event Market. On Richards creative side he is a light artist . Some of his work has been exhibited at the City of Austins New Years Eve Celebration 2013, First Night Austin 2009 & 2010 & South x South West 2010. " I love my work but I've never been much for being tied down to a store or working for a large corporation, so I prefer to freelance out of my home. This enables me to keep my schedule flexible and my pricing reasonable. I can bring along some talented installers or work directly with the clients labor".   Richard is also the creator/producer of Light Wizards which is an interactive musical stage experience for all ages. For more info on his art and the show please visit www.lightwizards.net Performers are illuminated with black lights and reflect on their faces and costumes. Occasionally the performers of Light Wizards perform slapstick comedy using cool props that glow or light. During one of the scenes the Light Wizards play electronic music using the Synth-A-Beams®. There is also incredible dance with illuminated objects and a colorful choreographed light show. In the high energy finale the Light Wizards reflect intense beams of light off mirrored props and even turn a performer into a living spinning mirror ball.
