Deliver and maintain electrical power system reliability across all 5 New York Boroughs, Westchester County and Staten Island. Monitor and assess system-wide power distribution through 185 Substation monitoring devices, 87 Network monitors, and 25 selected MTA signal locations. Analyze substation demand load and determine optimal voltage output to be distributed across the networks. Maintain Scada RMS system and computer workstations. Respond to emergent situations and prepare all related documentation for management review. Execute commercial and residential projects including conducting research and analysis on building power and equipment utilization to develop recommendations for improved power usage. Develop and draft standard operating procedures and department guidelines to ensure consistence on executing Power Quality surveys. Facilitate team training as Project Lead and resolve customer inquiries on an as needed basis. Show less
