  I was commercially responsible for Balfour Beatty Civil Engineerings Major Projects Infrastructure Services Business, predominantly working on Network Rails West Coast Main Line Route modernisation. Two schemes valued at about £950m delivered in alliance with Network Rail. Previously, I spent 10 years living across the United States - laterally supporting the West Coast business in contract adminstration, claims and value recovery. Projects included the seismic retrofits of both the Golden Gate and Marquinez Bridges, a new 5-mile long PC trestle bridge between San Mateo and San Francisco Airport, and Terminal A at Miami International Airport.
