Responsible for the management of fleet vehicle servicing and company equipment including a 17 vehicle fleet of Gillig 40 passenger buses. Responsibilities have included the day to day management of up to 30 unionized employees, safety training and compliance, safety inspection and reporting, purchasing of parts and equipment, negotiating with vendors, DOT and regulatory compliance, the development of action plans through the use of 8D process implementation, warranty reimbursements and implementation of corporate goals. All within the framework of timely, effective communication and professionalism.
