Successfully co-led a two month project in Rwanda in 2012, designing and manufacturingtwo types of solar home systems and one type of battery box system. Over 190 units wereproduced with as much locally sourced material as possible, involving the employment ofover 20 locals. To ensure long term sustainability of the project, lessons on electricity,physics and product maintenance were given to some employees.
