Project Experience: Maltings Lane, Witham: Designed and produced a Master Plan and Design Code for Maltings Lane in Witham which included over 1,000 residential dwellings, a business park, primary school, neighbourhood centre and community facilities. Organised and facilitated forum events to update and consult key stakeholders. Planning permission was obtained in 2008. Andrewsfield New Settlement: Prepared a land use master plan at site promotion stage for approximately 10,000 new homes with supporting community, leisure and employment uses. The master plan was split into six walkable neighbourhoods where local services as shops and primary schools were no more than 5 minutes walk away. In June 2016 it was considered as one of the North Essex Garden Communities sites. Nottingham Road, Ripley: Prepared a detailed master plan for a new business park on the outskirts of Ripley including a mix of office, industrial and warehouse uses totaling nearly 180,000sqft. The site had severe constraints including access issues, undulating topography and problematic groupings of vegetation. Planning permission was granted in 2008. Britannia Nurseries, Waltham Cross: Designed a detailed layout for a site located adjacent to the Lea Valley Regional Park. The layout was designed to provide a landscape buffer along the eastern boundary that would reduce visual impact of the development from the park. Outline planning permission was granted in late 2013. Following this, the local council prepared a development brief to ensure that the final built development strictly adhered to this design.
