After 31 years working in the Motor Vehicle Repair trade, 10 years in main stream body centre management and 13 years of running my own business, I decided that I needed a change and a new challenge. I now use my business skills in Event WiFi Services. I am responsible for the organisation and logistical movement of our Event WiFi equipment around the world. • Owner
      • Nov 2012 - Jul 2017

In 2012 I initiated a major change with the birth of AVC Customs Ltd. With this as the main name of the company, I split it in to smaller sections to include: AVC Romsey for all insurance, private, fleet & trade repairs of impact damage. AVC Customs is the section for the web-site sales & work carried out on project vehicles, restoration & modification work. AVC Motorsport works on the repair & maintenance of all our motor sport customers, be they Classic Formula one, Endurance or Motorbike Racing. Show less

      • Nov 2004 - Nov 2012

In 2004 I took the plunge to set up my own company in Romsey carrying out vehicle repairs as I could see that there was a market for a place that offered excellent quality repairs for a reasonable cost rather than the insurance driven, high numbers turn around that the majority of other repairs had swayed towards to get the guaranteed work directed from insurance companies. So in 2004 Absolute Vehicle Care was born and quickly built up a reputation for high quality repairs with excellent customer service. Picking up a lot of work from Main Dealer sales departments & also having customers directed to them for private & insurance work from these dealers. Under the Absolute banner the company branched out into other areas away from the normal repairs & became involved in Motorsport. Looking after the body work requirements for Race Teams which included VW Beetles, Golfs, Porsche, Motorbikes & Trucks. The company was approached to become the main bodywork & paintwork supplier for the Caparo T1 which was a road going formula one type vehicle & cost in the region of £250,000. Show less
