PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION This position is primarily responsible for completing finance, accounting and operational functions as they relate to the organizations financial health and advancement. Builds relationships and creates opportunity with internal departments, new and potential clients, financial institutions and professionals, and shareholders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensures financial information has been recorded accurately • Identifies trends and developments within the Operation and various profit centers • Performs financial forecasting, reconciliation of internal accounts, ROI and CapEx analysis • Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action • Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance • Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly • Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements • Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts • Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies • Work effectively with department groups in the development of annual operating plans & budgets, realistic forecasts, and ad-hoc analysis • Effectively communicate the business performance against the plan and forecasts including analysis of prime and margin • Develop expertise in key financial and forecasting systems • Support the development, analysis, and forecasting of the financial plan • Execute on the pricing process and maintain the integrity of the official price list • Provide in-depth financial analysis related to key business unit initiatives Show less
