I manage the Scottish Health Council’s digital output on a daily basis and lead the development of our e-participation strategy. I currently have overall responsibility for our two websites, the corporate Twitter accounts and quarterly e-newsletter. This includes anticipating priorities, preparing new content, editing the HTML code, regular gathering and monitoring of analytics data and user testing, monitoring and scheduling content via Hootsuite and liaising with external developers to create new functionality.I manage the directorate's customer relations manager (CRM) system, tracking interactions with external stakeholders and reporting engagement and impact. I also provide proactive and ad hoc support and training to colleagues using the system, and am responsible for data quality.I act as the champion for knowledge management and information governance within the Scottish Health Council and provide ongoing and proactive support and advice to colleagues for Data Protection, Freedom of Information and knowledge transfer methodologies. Responsible for managing stock and promoting use of the library within the school. I installed a new library management system and retrospectively catalogued the entire stock. I completed three four-month placements in various departments of Edinburgh University Library, gaining experience working on the service desks of two site libraries, where my duties included book circulation and inter-library loan processing, and in the Acquisitions department of the Main Library, where I worked with both monographs and journals, ordering and receiving stock and handling user enquiries. I also designed a dedicated website to provide information about the scheme to prospective applicants. Show less
