Managing the Arrow Finance team and closely involved with the NZ and Australian subsidiaries, I have guided the team to maximise the adoption of the new NetSuite package, brought all reconciliations up to date including the clearance of outstanding items, whilst improving the quality of Management reporting. Now having the day to day under control I am starting to get involved in more strategic projects. After initial contract roles reviewing and refining systems and processes to enhance the performance of the Wellington Branch and working on the amalgamation of 6 separate companies into one Advance Group company, on 1 November 2015 I was appointed to the newly created position of Group Accountant. The Group Accountant is responsible for all financial reporting, management accounting and compliance matters for the group.
