Richard is one of the most professional and amazing marketeers I have had the pleasure of working with! He has taught valuable skills for my growth as a marketing professional and provided me with great knowledge. He is one of the best lead generators and always has an idea or plan to generate leads and data when needed. Working with him was a pleasure, from the funny jokes to helping each other out.

Kerry Lenihan

Richard is a very creative marketing manager. He is always keen to think outside of the box when it comes to new campaign ideas. Richard is particularly good at negotiating, he is able to secure innovative partner deals. His energy and drive are enough to boost any team's morale.

Stacey Barnes

Richard is one of the most talented and passionate marketers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Whilst working together I always admired his ability to consistently come up with new, creative ideas to add some extra fuel to a marketing campaign. Richard really cares about the projects he works on and he takes the time to get to know the industry, meaning he in turn understands his audience inside and out. On top of this he is a great team player and adds a lot of fun to the workplace. I would love to work with him again in the future.

Total responsibility for over 25 events a year which certainly meant I was busy! I worked across a number of portfolios but with most responsibility for sectors including: Oil and gas, defence, customer experience and legal as well as a few other events in other areas. The role at IQPC puts a lot of responsibility on the Marketing Manager, time and again the events I worked on broke new margins in terms of delegate numbers and revenue including events such as the LNG Bunkering Summit… Show more Total responsibility for over 25 events a year which certainly meant I was busy! This was a work experience / intern position I sought out after leaving my management position at Peacocks. This was a stop-gap position to earn some money whilst looking for my first post university job. However although this was never going to be my career path I did learn a lot. I was for a while relief manager around East London and Essex before I was given my base store at Southend. For a 21 year old managing a store was a new and daunting experience for me. Not only were all the workers older than me I was also the last point of call for customers if there were any problems if the Manager be away (she was 3 days a week). However I overcome this and became a Manager that enforced the Companies minimum standards and was able to manage a sometimes challenging team of older people.

As soon as I was old enough to get a saturday job to earn a bit of extra cash I did so! I took up this role as a checkout operator in my local Somerfield store in Barking. I left to go to Peacocks as they paid more per hour and the role was more varied and less boring! As soon as I was old enough to get a saturday job to earn a bit of extra cash I did so!
