  Founder and CEO; my focus and main activities center around the drug discovery approach termed combinatorial chemistry. This is an approach that permits 10s of millions of compounds to be screened (tested on biological targets) to identify highly active and specific individual compounds. For example, our current approach uses 30,000,000 classic small molecule compounds to be used while requiring the screening of only 100-500 samples. Ultimately this approach is an information gathering method that permits those active functional groups around a given type of molecule (for example a diazepam, a steroid, an amphetamine, et cetera) that yields the most active individual compound.
