frog environmental provide silt control and water quality solutions for the construction industry. As well as developing our own low carbon solutions for contractors, we work with specialist suppliers in Europe, North America and Asia to bring innovative technologies to the UK. Our principle focus is to support the construction industry in its efforts to protect the water environment from the potential impact of temporary works and to achieve this in a low carbon and cost effective way. frog environmental provide silt control and water quality solutions for the construction industry. Providing technical support to a high profile charity responsible for managing rivers, canals and reservoirs. Supporting project teams and Operations on a broad range of environmental management issues from water quality and waste strategy to resource use, carbon management and energy reduction. I devised and led on independent research during my time with Canal & River Trust in partnership with Cranfield University, investigating surface water quality problems including excess nutrient loadings. I managed the environmental impacts and sustainability of the restoration of the Bow Back Rivers and the subsequent environmental management plan for the Olympic Games which took place in July 2012. The scheme was recognised by CEEQUAL as having achieved an 'excellent' level of environmental performance. Whilst I managed projects and programmes of work for CRT my main interest and specialism lies with surface water quality, managing the risks and opportunities arising from the Water Framework Directive and developing rigorous outcome driven investigation that result in practical improvements on the ground.
