Security Controller reporting to the Director of Safety and Compliance, responsible for enhancing the reputation of Cobham Aviation Services by ensuring that security requirements of MOD, Home Office, site owners and customers are met or exceeded. Key responsibilities: • Crypto Custodian responsible for all cryptographic material and equipment iaw JSP 490 • Ensuring that Government Protectively Marked (PM) material is kept secure and handled in accordance with the Security Policy Framework (SPF) and JSP 440. •Implementation, monitoring and review of security processes and procedures to effectively manage the storage and distribution of sensitive or classified material and ensure that adequate security resources (including external security agencies) are in place to secure company sites and information. • Provide security support to company bids and projects including submitting Project Accreditation requests. • Management of company security budget. • Audits of secure facilities, their contents and associated procedures and management of security audits conducted by external agencies • Management reporting and advice on security related matters to senior management. • Maintain positive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including preparation of briefing material and training on security matters. Key Successes • Implementation of new whole site physical security controls, ID swipe card systems, and internal UK Threat Level awareness action program. • Successful production of Risk Management Accreditation Document Set (RMADS) SyOps, Project Crypto Plan, Threat Risk Assessment Plan for high profile tactical datalink project. • Owner and author of company Threat Assessment and Security Operating procedures. • Revision of company security manual to meet current UK MOD and NATO security.

Flight Operations Support Officer

Flight Operations Support Officer providing support to the various flying, planning and security related activities required to serve the direct requirements of Flight Operations personnel and aircraft activities. Key Responsibilities: • UK MOD and NATO Exercise Planning Coordinator including aircraft asset allocation, production of Electronic Warfare briefing sortie material and post flight navigation data analysis. • Direct Liaison with main customer – Royal Navy, and private venture companies QinetiQ, DSTL, BAE Systems, MWIPT, and HM Customs and Excise. •Crypto Custodian for all related material / equipment and documentation subject to annual audits from UKNDA for the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, HM Customs & Excise and BAE Systems in accordance with JSP 490. • Responsible for control of classified documentation, storage, registry and destruction in accordance with the Security Policy Framework and JSP 440 • Management of Secret media databases, including RLI and DII(F) computer systems. Key successes: • Successful organisation of company’s Bi-annual involvement in NATO Joint Warrior detachments, effectively coordinating pre-sortie briefing material for company aircraft to meet a demanding customer flying program. • 1000 flying hours experience operating electronic warfare equipment to support Royal Navy airborne naval training capability as tasked by Joint Support Air Tasking Organisation (JSATO).
