  Cpi Colour forms part of the PanEuropean CPI Group. I was invited to create and lead the day to day operations of their Digital Printing Department. As the department was a new venture for the Group, I had the opportunity to build it from the ground up. I project managed the design and build of a purpose-built facility, sourced and oversaw the installation of all equipment prior to taking the leadership of day to day operations. All standard operating procedures were built around Lean Manufacturing Principles and dovetailed to our ISO procedures, creating efficiencies and OTIF deliveries of 98%, which ranked us in the top 10 Production sites for Indigo Presses Europe wide. In this role, I had overall responsibility for the divisional P&L of £5,000,000 Sales revenue and a team of 12 people.

  I joined The Colourhouse as PrePress Director, directly reporting to the MD. I had overall operational responsibility for the department with eight direct reports. The Colourhouse practised its own brand of Lean Manufacturing, “Perfection Through Improvement”. As PrePress Director, I was invited to join this team initiative, and in my last three years with the Company, I was invited by the MD to Chair the Lean Committee. This allowed me to implement SOP’s and lead best practice across all areas of the business, ensuring that all changes were aligned to our ISO 9001 & 14001 policies and procedures.

Keeping machine rollers and cylinders clean etc. Training on GTO 52 Began training on GTO 52 with an aim to become machine minder within six months. Responsible for the maintenance of the machine and the paper for jobs on the press.
