  ACS International school Egham is a world school delivering all three IB programmes. In my first year at the school I was tasked with being the lead teacher, responsible for delivering the full Sport Exercise and Health Science course to grade 11 and 12 students. I have supervised multiple grade 12 students in the extended essay as well as overseen the Internal Assessment process and supervised students with the CAS element of the diploma programme. I have developed my skills and understanding in the IB MYP programme and thoroughly enjoy the delivery of PHE with a focus on conceptual based learning, as I believe it allows learners to make meaningful connections to real world issues and deepen their understanding of content.   As elementary and middle school coordinator of physical education at Oak House, I introduced a new, student centred assessment system across the school. The system focussed on improving the understanding of key PE concepts and the ability to apply skills and knowledge to tackle increasingly complex situations. In order to support the new assessment system, I created schemes of work for each year group. I successfully introduced the GCSE PE qualification to the high school.
