I joined Macquarie Telecom in 2001 when I first emigrated to Australia from London, I took a role with them in Adelaide heading up their new business team selling all traditional Telco services. The first 2 years at Macquarie was spent finding my feet in a very conservative market but once I got to know the lay of the land I went on to increase the turnover in South Australia by 450% in a 4 year period. In addition to signing the first ever 5 year contract for Macquarie Telecom I also won an extremely competitive tender to secure the Adelaide University contract for an initial 3 years which we eventually extended to 5 years as they renewed the agreement with us.  Show less
