As Head of Change Delivery, I am responsible for the ensuring that programmes and projects of change are delivered to meet the business goals of the organisation. Vhi's products and services span traditional insurance activity as well as the provision of healthcare services for our members. Within the Change Delivery function, we have 200 staff both onshore employees and offshore vendors who focus on policy management, claims management, customer communications, CRM, digital channels, enterprise integration, finance, risk, HR, regulatory/compliance as well as infrastructure management of our on premise and cloud applications. Alongside managing the various programmes in the transformation space, there is also application support for many of the systems of engagement and communication, and also the regular upgrade activity of applications and infrastructure components. A significant focus over the last 2 years is to transition the team from a project focused pool of resources to a series of product teams with clear capacity levels and the ability the self manage using agile frameworks. I have also driven a move towards DevOps and Continous Integration pipelines as well as introducing Quality Engineering practices.
