I've had the supreme pleasure of working with Richard Dawson over several game projects including Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, '83 and IGI: Origins and also many video trailer projects. Rich is an incredibly talented cinematic artist. There are very few people I've ever seen work as hard or be as dedicated to their work. When it comes the narrative of a game Rich is an integral team player, he works with writers, artists and animators to ensure a cohesive cinematic vision. Rich understands what makes a story visually compelling and he utilizes his understanding of film, narrative and art to create complete and compelling game experiences. Rich is also a skilled videographer, photographer and graphic designer. But the best thing about Rich is that he's a genuinely kind and compassionate colleague who's always ready to discuss ideas or to teach others. Working with Rich is an absolute pleasure.
