  Taylors formed a Board and engaged and external Business Consultant to act as Chairman/CEO and during this period Richard undertook the role of Chief Operations Officer across all of Taylors service delivery areas. Richard began developing his Business Management skills as COO whilst consulting as a Project Manager and Licensed Surveyor to a variety of land and build form development projects to key clients.

  Richard joined Taylors as Survey Manager where his main responsibilities were co-ordination and development of the Land Surveying capability.Consulting as a Licensed Surveyor to a variety of land and built form development projects, Richard learned to manage client expectations, projects and people and during this period became a shareholder.
