Developments included: - Etihad Arena. The Middle East’s largest state-of-the-art indoor entertainment venue with a guest capacity of 18000 - Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. A 545-room hotel with 2,500 sqm of event space, an outdoor swimming pool, signature Eforea Spa/Health Club, kids’ club and diverse restaurants. - The Abrahamic Family House. Designed by Adjaye Associates, a collection of 3 religious spaces: a mosque, a synagogue and a church, all of which sit upon a secular visitor pavilion. - Hostile Vehicle Management (HVM). Review of the security of Yas Island attractions (Formula 1 racetrack, hotels, arena, events spaces). Installation of 1200 PAS rated bollards, defensive berms, concrete barriers and other measures to resist high security threats associated with large public events particularly the Yas F1 race. - Feasibility and design development for Film Studios complex, Biodome, National/Copyright Library, Government Offices and Water Park amongst other schemes. Responsibilities during Scheme Development/Design Phase: · Working alongside Development Teams and Designers to establish a strategic and operational business plans for each development with clear briefs and objectives · Recommending engineering, procurement and construction solutions to make projects more commercially feasible · Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies · Co-coordinating with Regulatory Authorities as required.
