My first involvement with the AV industry was in 1997, when I was offered a role as an account manager, and during this time I have seen it evolve considerably. While the complexity and capability of technology has changed vastly the end users requirements have remained the same, simplicity and reliability. I have always maintained a strong emphasis on business development and building relationships with both existing and new clients. This helps me foster a partnered approach to ensure a clear, transparent line of communication to line up expectations and deliver the desired outcome.I joined the Videopro team in 2011 and during this time have had the opportunity to work with some extremely talented people in Account management, Design, Installation and Programming. This has given me the ability to gain practical knowledge through involvement in many high end audio visual solutions. I have been extremely fortunate to be a part of some exciting projects for NZ Police, IBM, NZTA, Todd Corporation to name a few.I am passionate about my role and continually look for ways to improve and adapt my skills to stay relevant in an ever changing landscape. As a company we are always working together to improve our processes and in turn the clients experience.In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family and am involved in a local church. My interests are Kapa Haka, Guitar & Training.

Had an opportunity to join Videopro in 2011 and glad I made the decision to be part of the team. My main role within VP is account manager. To me this involves various roles but the main part is working with the client to line up expectations and ensure we are working towards the same result. Mostly working with Governments & Corporates providing digital media solutions for control rooms, boardrooms and meeting rooms. Simple automated solutions, integrated systems, designed configurations for meeting room technology spaces.

Audio Visual Account Manager

My first experience in the AV industry was in 1996 where I was fortunate to get an opportunity to work under and be mentored by Nick Tulitt - MD for ESP (RIP). Nick was an early adapter of this technology, first bringing in products from manufacturers out of Norway and Japan - ASK and NEC. This is back in the days when 3 Gun CRTs and LCD panels that used an OHP as the light source were the only means of projection available. The first single lens LCD was soon available and these were rated at approx. 140 lumens, VGA resolution and using Halogen lamps that lasted 40hrs (then again they were only $30. Over the years we have seen the industry evolve and have had to adapt with it to stay relevant. While the technology may have changed - where native HD screens are a starting point and brightness is second only to the sun, the end user requirement has not - simple and reliable. That is why building relationships to provide a more partnered approach is still so important.
