  Working within bmibaby logistics I perform a combined role, managing both Operations and Crewing.Areas of responsibility;Assist the Senior Logistics Controller to supervise the Airlines flying programme.Coordinate all changes and manage the recovery of the operation, including identifying the need for cancellation, combinations or delays.Follow company procedure to ensure all crew sickness is managed and crewing hours are adhered to.Ensure flights are correctly crewed in accordance to legal and company legislation. Particular observance of CAA, EU and DFT regulations. Liaising with departments within the business in times of disruption to ensure optimum delivery of quality customer service.Maintaining of all systems and databases within the department. Manage all flight crew needs for hotel accommodation or transport. Both arranging this and liaising with the outsourced companies to ensure a punctual service is maintained. Demonstrate a working knowledge of ATC procedures, aircraft performance and flight and fuel planning. Maintain the working relationship with CFMU and follow guidance for slot management, creating re-routes and the delaying of ATC flight plans.Monitor weather reports and liaise with Senior Logistics Controller to advise of any problematic conditions. Network with all outstations to indicate any changes to the flying programme. Audit all pilot entered data into AIMS systems and amend where necessary. Show less
